Rare original dust jacket is present; same jacket as the first printing. $2.50 price intact on flap. Book is fine. Binding and hinges are strong, sound and tight. Pages and endpapers are clean. The rare original jacket shows soiling with chipping, mostly at crown. Despite this, the jacket is so rare that any condition is desirable as the book itself is rare, and the DJ is that much more rare. Marching Blacks is the Civil Rights icon's rare first book. Powell would serve in the U.S. House of Representatives, from New York, from 1945 until 1971. NYC's Seventh Avenue north of Central Park, through Harlem, has been renamed as Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard. Fine in original good-only jacket.
