Hardcover, Gray cloth boards with black title to spine, stated first edition 1938 with Harper date codes D-N, indexed, 170 pp., Book Condition: POOR, significant water damage to boards (see photos), back board heavily damage and discolored. Internally the pages are in good condition, there are light water markers throughout the book near the top of most pages otherwise the text is not affected to badly from the board damage. There is red ink underlining to a handful of pages throughout the book, it appears someone had also tried to erase some of the underlining at some point and has damaged some of the text - only a few short paragraphs where that occurs. Despite the damage, a wonderful first edition ready copy. Contents: Introduction, Chapter I: The Margin Trader, II. The Margin Trader's Broker, III. The Broker's Exchange, IV. The Brokers Bank, V. The Margin Trader and Industry, VI. Margin Trading and the Business Cycle, VII: Conclusions, Appendix Tables I to XXI, Appendix Exhibit -- end. -- 170 pp.
