A good hardback first edition in a dust jacket. There is an old inscription on the front free endpaper (pictured), and the shadow of some pencilled numbers on the rear free endpaper, along with a small blemish. Light scattered foxing throughout. The dust jacket (with its oval cut out on the upper cover showing the gilt ring on the board beneath) is in nice condition, and protected by a non-adhesive transparent sleeve. Overall, a good hardback first edition in a very good jacket.
