Moderate rubbing to extremities and marbled boards; spine compartments rubbed with wear at crowns and heels. One volume (Sketches by Boz) exhibits partial loss to spine leather. Corners lightly worn. Marbled endpapers present. Internally, pages generally clean and bright with occasional light toning; no significant staining. All engraved plates and tissue guards present as issued. A solid and presentable period binding set.
