About this Item

Still firmly bound and has been carefully read. The red hardcover has some light wear at the edges & some crushing to the corners but is otherwise in VG clean condition. Gift inscription on the endpaper dated 1952. The pages aremainly clean & crisp with one or two marks & the top edge has a mark from a small spillage (Cocoa?). Illustrated in b/w by Shirley Hughes.
