1961 first edition, pale blue boards, two-colour dustjacket and numerous black and white illustrations by Irene Williamson. Boards are a little browned, head and tail of spine slightly bumped. DJ is price-clipped with vertical fading either side of the spine and round the edges. Upper edge of dustjacket is chipped, creased and worn, lower edge better. Inner flaps of DJ browned. Some shadowing to endpapers. Pages slightly browned with odd reading-related crease and fingermark. Page edges slightly dustmarked. Binding firm, contents clean, clear and legible, so Good overall in Fair DJ. Approx. 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches. Images available on request.
