Title page, dedication page, and table of contents have been repaired with tape (browning) visible. Owner inscription on title page in pen. The author dedicated this title to his second son, Robert, and it is generally thought that Rob, the novel's protagonist, was based on Robert Baum. A unique story by the author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
