This copy from the library of noted poet, translator, and anthropologist Nathaniel Tarn (1928-2024), with his bookplate to front pastedown, with his pencilled marginal notes throughout text. Slight ripple effect to lower front cover and lower spine end, and stamp to front endpaper; Very Good. Dustwrapper, price-clipped, with corresponding ripple to lower front panel, light rubbing to spine panel and extremities, and tiny chip to upper rear corner; Very Good. Literary biography on Russian poet Vladimir Mayakovsky, with chapters including "1915: The Cloud and the Flute", "A Commerical Artist Discovers America", and "The Cinema and the Stage". [86158].
