The setting for this 224 page, award winning childrens' (age 9+) is the McIntyre ranch in Southern Alberta. Its a real pace on the Milk River Ridge. The rest is fiction. The lead characters are : Kevin Winslow, Josh Griffin, Jo Griffin, Torval Dalquist, Cowboy Delbert, and Rita from Del Bonita. READ more about : Little Swede, Frenchy Beaudrais, Morris Little Horse, drifter, hog barn custodian, and Galloping Muskrat. UNillustrated. Cond : Paper wrapper is white with burgundy titling. Cover illustration shows three men, three horses and a big Alberta sky. Bright square and clean. Flies open slightly. No names, tears, nor marks. Excellent reading copy. QUote (p. 113) : " The afternoon zipped by. I was so excited I ate a light supper (only two pieces of pie to finish it off). We under rate the condition of our books, build cardboard shipping sleeves for protected shipping and respond promptly to requests and queries.
