Every fourth page is a full-color figurative painting, each one by an excellent artist. The other pages have fiction on them, with only one color but lots of words including punched, pants, and Puerto ? that's actually just the first page. After that, there are stories exploring animal-plant romances, psycho librarians, and passive-agressive ventriloquism. No fewer than two dictators appear as protagonists. And after all that, loosely glued to the inside back cover, there5;s a fifty-page booklet containing a harrowing excerpt from Chris Adrian5;s The Children5;s Hospital..
This is a handsome, handsome issue, brimming with fulfilling things.

Terms of sale
We're an exclusively online bookstore.
Email is the best way to reach us: nilbogbooks@gmail.com We'll respond to your email inquiry within 24 hours.
Most of our books are in storage, and will have to be retrieved before they can be shipped (or described/photographed if additional details are requested). While this may occasionally slow down responses, it also means these books aren't as manhandled as they might be in a physical store.
We carry mostly modern firsts, photography, art books, children's books, and cook books.
Unless stated otherwise, our books are not library copies, book club editions or price-clipped. However, feel free to email about specific titles if you just want to be sure.
Shipping terms
Orders will usually ship within 2 business days. Our prices are based around books the size of a novel, so they may need to be increased for larger books. We don't make any money on postage, but we can't afford to subsidize it, either.
