- FICTION, Fiction::Short Stories
McSweeney's Issue 23 includes ten stories from ten excellent writers, including Wells Tower, Chris Bachelder, Ann Beattie, and other agile talents bringing visions of the Dallas/Fort Worth fake-watch trade and Papua New Guinea in the 1960s. Every story gets its own front and back cover drawn, collaged, or embroidered by the polymathic Andrea Dezsö. The whole thing is wrapped in a jacket that unfolds into five square feet of double-sided glory ? spread it out one way for dozens of very short stories by Dave Eggers, arranged in what we're pretty sure is a volvelle; flip it over and witness all those Dezsö illustrations stitched into one unbroken expanse.

Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. International shipments that qualify for Global Priority shipping will be sent that way so long as the book fits (well packaged) in the flat rate envelope. Please note that USPS no longer offers international Surface Mail but because we are located in Canada we can offer this option.
Please note that the International shipping rate is for books 2 lbs or more fully packaged. If your book weighs less I will mail 1st Class (air mail) and reduce the S&H to the current 1st Class rate.
To our US customers, Please note shipments to the US usually arrive in 7-10 days, not a guarantee but an observation. Please note that due to Canadian travel restrictions, we are no longer able to cross the border to drop our parcels off at the US Post Office. We are temporarily raising our shipping rates to the US. When the travel restrictions are lifted, the cost will return to normal.
