Bound in calf with a professionally rebacked leather spine. Some rubbing to the binding with tape reinforcements to the insides. The text is surprisingly white and clean. From the library of the Honorable George Baillie, one of the Lords of the Treasury, with his bookplate dated 1724 affixed. Much of his library is located within the Robert Adams room at Mellerstain, the remainder are in the Scottish National Archives. He was a member of the First parliament of Great Britain.
