Oblong Quarto. First printing in hard cover. 156 pages. Illustrated in color and in black and white. The artist is one of the finest of the plein air painters. While his fame originated with his landscape, still life, and marine oil paintings, how he began is captured here in his memoir. Bound in blue cloth spine lettering gilt, upper corners only lightly bumped, near fine in fine dust jacket.
