Translated from the German, this 1st English edition compiled by the above writer has 198 pages with a specially prepared map of the Tyrol region where these battles and events took place. The map folds out. There is also a full profile hand-coloured aquatint of the freedom fighter by the artist "Strickner" and engraved by J. Clark for John Murray the publisher of this 1st edition in the UK. The condition; Small brown spot to margin of frontispiece, several small spots on title and back of folding map, the odd light foxing on several pages, but printed on pure rag paper and clean. The book has been re-bound in a 20th century two-tone blue cloth paper boards. Good margins, not trimmed. VG. Octavo. 1820.
