Transcript of a speech given at the Dinner of 'The 45' club, in the Caledonian Hotel, Edinburgh on the 21st of November, 1911, by the noted Scottish sculptor and poet, Pittendrigh Macgillivray. The transcript was privately printed by T & A Constable, and limited to 150 copies. There is no card cover or jacket, simply the folded, heavy paper, stitched at the spine. The speech is 11 pages long. The outer pages are browned and marked with some creases at the spine. Not all the page edges have been cut, and none are trimmed, so the edges seem 'wavy'. The pages are a little browned, with the odd reading-related crease and fingermark scattered throughout. Those defects aside, this is an unusual item, the pages are all there, and the text still clear and legible, so Good overall. Approx. 8 3/4 x 11 inches. Images available on request.
