Memory and Intelligence

Small quarto in grey-brown cloth with light brown/orange/white pictorial DJ; xii, 414 pages; illustrations; 25 cm. "This volume represents the results of a major inquiry by Jean Piaget and his colleagues into the complex interactions between memory and intelligence. Introducing a number of new experimental facts as well as their theoretical underpinnings, the authors illuminate the operations of intelligence upon the ways perceptions not only are formed but also are conserved. [.] Memory and Intelligence is a pioneering work that presents illuminating conclusions drawn from extensive research, together with a number of constructive ideas which open up a fresh approach to an important area of educational psychology." --Jacket Contents: Introduction: the problem of the memory and its place.
