Full morocco leather binding, with gilt decoration to the spine, gilt decorated to both boards, part of the text rubbed off to the title page (see photos), first gathering loose but still attached, miniature volume, hole to the base of the spine and 2 holes to the front joint, no worming internally. Scarce, JISC only records 5 copies internationally including the Victoria and Albert Museum. 108pp. Provenance: no signatures or bookplates. Approximately 3 ½ inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt decoration, folded and worn to the top and base, small hole to the base. Joints good condition 2 holes to the front joint, sound and solid. Corners good condition bumped and worn with rubbing. Boards good condition full leather, gilt decorated boards, marked and worn. Page edges good condition top edges slightly darkened, all marbled. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition sound, strained after the end paper. Paste downs good condition marbled. End papers good condition marbled. Title good condition tanned, text faded and missing towards the gutter (letters Ra missing from Rational). Pages good condition tanned, small marks and minor foxing.
