Uncommon catalogue edited from a symposium held April 1, 1989 at the Yale School of Architecture. Mostly focused on furniture, this collection covers all manners of interior design and its rise in importance in between the wars through the development of such signifcant design houses as Herman Miller and the like. 87 pgs, black and white reproductions but fairly text-heavy. Excellent overall condition. Clean, well bound, no major wear to speak of except some odd minuscule bumps to the front cover which are more felt than seen. Contributors include: Lisa Baldauf, Patricia E. Kane, Derek Ostergard, Caroline Stern, David Hanks, Ralph Caplan, Grace Keating, Karen Lucic, Nina Strizler, R. Craig Miller.
