This is a delightful collection of poems, short stories and writings by such authors as Anna Sewell (Black Beauty), AEsop (AEsop's Fables), Hans Christian Andersen, Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland), Nathaniel Hawthorne, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and many more. It contains 320 pages and includes suggestions for study and a word list with a key to pronuciation. The book appears to have been little used and is like new with no signs of wear. The pages are clean and there is no evidence that it was a school library book. The tan cover is embossed with a black and orange design of children following the Pied Piper.
