First edition and printing. In good plus brown cloth boards, blind stamped ruled edges, gilt titles to back strip. The covers are very tight, fairly clean and with slight wear to corners and spine ends. Unmarked end papers. The red mottled cut edges are a little tanned. The text block is tightly bound, clean and straight - very good condition, especially for age - and with b/w photos and figures. No dedications etc. Without jacket. Scarce edition.

Our Bookshop is in Copse Road in Clevedon and is open every day, seven days a week, from 10.00am to 5.00pm. The Bookshop Co-operative comprises nearly 650 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. The benefit of being a member/shareholder is only social: no-one benefits financially. All profits are used to improve the bookshop and its stock, and, through events, to contribute to the literacy and literary profile of our town. the books(s) to us and, provided you do this within 30 days of receiving the

We pack our books in corrugated book wrap or book boxes. We try to respond to orders the same day as we receive them or during the next business day. Shipping costs are based on books weighing up to 1.1 lb, or 0.5KG. If your book order is particularly heavy or oversized, we may contact you to request an additional payment to cover extra postage costs.
