Ex-library copy, with label remains on front pastedown, rear endpaper excised, black mark on title page. Binding is clean and bright, with light to moderate wear. Front free endpaper shows some discoloration. Text is clean, tight, and crisp, with no bent corners or tears and a few page numbers circled in ink. 126 pages. Written primarily for juveniles, but appropriate for adults, this book "discusses the creation and development of the metric system and explains why its adoption by the United States is both inevitable and desirable," (although that is yet to happen).
