At top of free front endpaper is stapled the Wood Research Institute business card of co-author Tsuneo Kishima, who wrote on it "to Ruth Turner," under which he signed his name in Japanese. Dr. Turner signed her name, "R.D. Turner" atop the front cover. Volume is worn and creased; binding is sunned; spine tips are chipped; verso of title page has faint, minor stain in fore-edge margin; tight, text clean. [2], 120, [2], 9 p., chiefly photographs ("micrographs") of timber. [b 731] Size: 10 1/8 x 7 1/8 Inches.
