Very rare original 1877 first separate edition of Andrew Ross's "The Microscope. Being the article contributed by Andrew Ross to the 'Penny Cyclopaedia' published for the diffusion of useful knowledge." The book is overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. The covers only have some light wear. The binding is good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age with some occasional light foxing. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection. The book is a slim volume which measures approximately 7 inches by 4 1/2 inches and is 47 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
