original full leather boards are worn and marked. raised banks to the spine. more than half of the label on the spine has been lost. the front hinges are weak but are still holding and the binding is strong. there are no inscriptions but there is foxing and age related markings. the book is complete with all 14 plates (many fold outs). 311 pages plus the index.
