Bookplate of scientist George Day to the front pastedown.A smart example of this very scarce work. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with back strip and fore edge of front board lightly age toned. Hinges strained, but firmly held. Bookplate to front pastedown.
