Burchfield presenting him with the book and warmly thanking him for his services as the executor of Mies van der Rohe's estate. The letter is folded and enclosed in an envelope marked personal and addressed to Burchfield at The Northern Trust Bank, Chicago. DJ has a very small, 1/2" chip to top edge. A great copy with a family association.
