Synopsis
Editors Timothy George and Robert Smith Jr. have compiled a collection of essays, sermons, and speeches chronicling the journey to racial reconciliation in the American church. About the Author
Timothy George is Dean at Beeson Divinity School, Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He is also editor, along with his wife Denise, of the Library of Baptist Classics series. He previously was an associate professor of church history and historical theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Robert Smith, Jr. Associate Professor of Christian Preaching at Beeson Divinity School of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He is also an Associate minister at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Smith and his wife have four children and two grandchildren.
