His work is widely recognized as foundational to the New Thought spiritual movement." The Rev. Dr. Ervin Seale, a minister of the nondenominational Church of the Truth, who broadcast services each Sunday over WOR Radio in New York, died of pneumonia on Monday at his daughter's home in Asheville, N.C. He was 80 years old and had homes in Manhattan and Asheville. From Ervin Seale's 1990 obituary, " Dr. Seale broadcast his weekly sermons on ''Healthymindedness'' from about 1940 to 1973, when he retired.
