Illustrated in black & white "with over one hundred and fifty Diagrams, sets of designed lines and offsets, photographs, and table graphs" (from the title page.) First edition, with the A on the copyright page. 118 pages. Oblong 8vo (9 1/2" by 13".) Hardcover, bound in light blue cloth, with a drawing of a sailboat in green. The cover is unevenly browned, the top edge and the endpapers are lightly foxed. The text block is clean and bright and doesn't have any writing or other markings. The dust jacket shows some wear, rubbing, and several short tears. Good+/Good.
