Jacket chipped at spine ends (loss of part of title), two old clear tape repairs to blank side, photo of Lauder on front cover panel. 8 plates on coated stock, from photographs. Lauder's son died after being shot down by the Germans, after which Lauder gave his wealth to the British War Loans, sang for the soldiers, raise money in England, lived with the soldiers in trenches, and more.; 8 plates from photographs; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 338 pages.
