HB. Expurgated version. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and blind-stamped RAF wings crest to fnt. Some fading to edges of boards; very slight wear to edges and corners. Printed at the Alden Press, Oxford. 206 pages. DJ unclipped (price 17s 6d. net) , fairly grubby, with wear & chipping to edges, corners & joints; 1inch vertical tear at bottom of fnt dj joint; 1 inch vertical tear at top fnt edge of dj; about half a dozen other smaller tears; DJ spine considerably tanned; dj has a piece 3 inches wide and up to 1.5 inches deep missing from back top edge of dj adjacent fnt edge. Books tight and generally clean. .
