Number 594 of a limited first edition of 2,000 copies, in cream card slipcase. Quarter bound with blue leather spine and blue linen-covered boards. Decorated endpapers. Top edges gilt, fore-edges and lower edges uncut. Head and tail of spine and corners of covers very slightly worn. Some wear to approx. a quarter horizontally of fore-edges of covers, presumably where it has been removed and replaced in the slipcase over time - unusual, given that the book appears unread. Endpapers foxed, pages slightly yellowed but contents generally very clean and clear with tight, firm binding. Card slipcase rather grubby and marked, paper torn at head and tail of spine area, which is spotted, but intact and still solid, so Good overall. Approx. 8 x 10 1/4 inches.
