First American trade edition, Limited edition. Published posthumously according to Lawrence's wishes. Following World War I, despite having previously held a senior rank in Arabia, Lawrence disappeared from public view by enlisting in the Royal Air Force as Aircraftman John Hume Ross. The Mint covers his initial training and part of his service (Wikipedia). Housed in a good slipcase, which is somewhat chipped and dirty. Number 701 of 1000 in this edition.
