First thus Octavo. Very good. Two Volumes: Volume 1 published in 1924 and Volume 2 in 1925. Green cloth with gilt-stamped titling and decoration to spines. From the Collections of The New York Historical Society for the Year 1924 (Vol LVII) and 1925 (Vol LVIII). Court proceedings of New York during the American Revolution. Volume 2 includes Minutes of the Council of Appointment April 4, 1778 - May 3, 1779 plus index at rear. Ex-library, though the books are in their original green cloth boards. The spines are free of any labels, though present are the usual stamps to the pastedowns and blocks. Both volumes from the University of Windsor Library with faint "Withdrawn" stamps to both volumes at the rear pastedowns. Corners rubbed. The contents are clean and free of any annotations. An attractive set. Securely shipped in a well-packed box.
