Sandford was awarded the DCM, not the MC). Papered boards; quarter-page pieces (cartoons) torn from two leaves (pages 79/80 and 101/102), otherwise an excellent copy with the dustwrapper covered in clear adhesive plastic (attached to the pastedowns). + A second copy with the two defective leaves noted above both intact, and with a fine facsimile dustwrapper, but the boards are soiled, the spine is damaged and the bottom margin of the text is a little water-cockled throughout.
