Green boards with black lettering on spine. Page dimensions: 183 x 122mm. Principally the autobiographical reminscences of the author, who grew up in the Nelson / Marlbourgh region in the mid-20th century, with some notes on the earlier history of the area. Includes a short appendix on early Picton. Selected chapter titles: Brooklyn; Yachting and the Sounds; Homesteads in the Sounds; Early Church History; Wellington Girls' High School; Student Days at Canterbury College; Professors I Have Known; Hukarere Maori Girls' School, Napier.
