No Jacket. First Printing. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This decorative cloth hardcover elementary science book level three in the Laidlaw Science series is in good to very good condition with little wear. The covers are mostly white with minor wear on the faces and around the edges but look great. The spine is tight with minor wear. The pages are white with little wear and few marks. There is a school district stamp on the first page saying discard and the ledger inside the front cover has one teacher's name. The pages are bright and colorful with zillions of illustrations and drawings to help keep the student's interest. 16 chapters are offered in six units: What is Science? Living Things; The Earth; The Universe; Matter and Energy; and The Human Body. 240 pages with a helpful glossary-index in the back. CHEAP SHIPPING MEDIA MAIL.

WE accept CHECKS, POSTAL & COMMERCIAL MONEY ORDERS, and ECOMMERCE through ABEBOOKS.COM. We will hold checks for up to seven working days to ensure validity and ship immediately thereafter. We do not at this time accept any credit cards at the store. All payments must be in American dollars. We accept returns of books within 10 days of receipt but only if the book is not as described.

Shipping charges are kept to a minimum and reflect the buyer's request (either media rate or priority). U.S. Media rate (7-15 days) $2.50 1st book and $1.00 each additional. U.S. Priority rate (3-6 days) $5.50 1st book and $2.50 each additional. Please inquire via e-mail about international rates. International first class rate is used whenever possible. Insurance is available and advisable for $1.50 - $2.00 and U.S. Postal tracking for orders within the US is available for $1.50. We provide free postal tracking on domestic mail on orders over $5.00. MEDIA MAIL RATE POSTAGE IS FREE FOR ORDERS OVER $100.00!
