Item description from seller

"The purpose of this magazine is to publish a few issues devoted to poetry and unusual prose and then go out of business." [ DONE] Done, sadly done. Soon after the Winter issue was printed Merton meet his bizarre death in Southeast Asia. The four volumes are, in general, rated "Very Good" due to red notation in volume 1 and blue ink notes in Volume 2. Nothing to spoil the reading, but there never the less. See photo of front cover of volume 4; note "this is the last one, Best Wishes B.Thomas". Unfortunately the curator of the Bellarmine University Merton Collection claims Merton never signed this way. ??? Priced accordingly. An estimated 150-200 copies each with most given to contributors. For additional information and/or photos upon request. 199 numbered pages / heavy stock photos and artwork excluded. Reportedly printed on a mimeograph machine at the Seminary.

Store description

We recently closed our brick and mortar storefront after 27years service, and have joined the legion of "Internet Only" operations. We, of course welcome traveling visitors, and folks wishing to sell quality books, to contact us via phone, email or internet, to set an appointment for viewing and/or discussion. We are dedicated to offering fair value for your book or collection. Informal appraisals are at no charge to the customer. Formal appraisal (documented) charges are based on size and a signed agreement. We strongly recommend the informal appraisal to avoid surrendering your collection to a multi-media boxstore without prior knowledge. Donation recommedations are also available at no charge. We are very interested in your satisfaction. We are a phone call, email, or website visit away, and look forward to hearing from you. Richard & Carol Young / All Booked Up…
