First editions, 1849, 1852, 1854, & 1856. Each with full page lithographed plates by J. de C. Sowerby. Each volume has a title page. Some discolouring of the paper and foxing throughout and with some slight water staining in places. . Heavy bump to the bottom edges has very slightly torn the bottom pages of the first two volumes. Bound in a later Victorian green cloth with leather titling label. The cloth is bumped scuffed and the front cover is slightly creased, heavy rubbing and marking. Externally only a fair copy.
