Octavo, 9.5 x 6.5", green illustrated wrappers, 122 pp. A North Carolina community cookbook published by an unnamed women's group, which newspaper records reveal was the Woman's Auxiliary of the Episcopal Church in Monroe, North Carolina. The first edition was published in 1911, and this revised edition was likely produced in the 1920s. The recipes are attributed, and include dishes with a German and Moravian influence, as well as recipes for Alakuma (Turkish nougat), Bengal curry, Indian kedgeree, baked o'possum, and more. Two in OCLC for this revised edition. Chip to lower corner of pp. 87-88 with loss to a few words of text, creasing and staining to wrappers, toning to pages, tears and slight chipping along edges of a few pages.
