About this Item
A smart first edition of this brightly illustrated work on Montreux, Switzerland. First edition. Illustrated with a frontispiece and nineteen colour plates. Collated complete. A detailed travel guide to Montreux, Switzerland, with chapters on the Swiss Riviera, the castle of Chillon, and Vevey, as well as historical commentary on Bonivard, Salvationists, and the regicides. Written by Francis Henry Gribble, a British writer. Illustrated by John and May Hardwicke Lewis, British artists and authors. In the original blue cloth binding.
