184pp - ex-library - burgundy cloth - tape marks to boards and endpapers with shelf wear to edges - usual library stamps and labels - preliminary pages and content edges moderately foxed/soiled - spine cracked towards rear section with some pages detached but all present - moderate lean to spine - dustwrapper is lightly soiled but without any library marking to spine - wear and chipping to edges with a few small losses - flaps trimmed vertically with loss of text to rear flap - well-read and not particularly attractive nevertheless it is a 1st UK edition and the dustwrapper is quite bright - SCARCE.
