About this Item

The first book by the well-known children's author and illustrator Uri Shulevitz, this Near Fine copy has a small, beautiful, non-intrusive inscription on the front endpaper. Noticeable flaws include only very minor wear at top and bottom of the spine, and the back-bottom tip shows a very minor bump. The Very Good+ to Near Fine dust jacket has original $2.50 price and shows minor edge wear at top and bottom of spine and a closed tear at bottom right-back cover. First edition stated on copyright page.
