First American edition in red cloth, gilt stamped spine, cover stamped in black and bordered in blind, tissue guarded full color frontispiece and 2 additional illustrations by A. C. Michael. Scott 53: Whatmore F35 Longmans, Green and Co.; New York, (1910), 308 pps. A nice VG copy with edge wear, tiny split at crown, book plate glue residue at front pastedown, and 2 neatly affixed bookplates (first on f.f.e and 2nd on rear pastedown).
