A particularly handsome exemplar of a sturdy copy of a fine social history of typography and an inspiring printing along the Frontier West. SIGNED by the author at half-title page, being warmly inscribed to a dear friend. Sterling condition hardcover copy, with unbruised tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear; not ex-library, with neither underlining nor highlighting anywhere. Brown printed paper over boards, black design and lettering to cover and spine. Bright and shiny printed dust jacket, illustrated, showing only very minor wear, not price-clipped. Volume contains scholarly apparatus in the form of, e.g., notes, index, and bibliography. viii [3], 1-172 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
