Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway. First US edition, first impression. Octavo. 211pp. Includes 9 black and white photos. This book is in very good condition. The grey boards plus 1/3 brown cloth are very good, with minor bumping to the front and back board top corners. The cloth is slightly faded to the spine. The spine top and bottom edges are lightly curled. The spine has a slight ridging down the centre line. The gilt titling to the spine remains bright and clear. The spine is slightly cocked. The front pastedown page has a previous owner's address stamp on it, and the ffep has an inscription to the same previous owner. The closed page block top edge has grey colouring which has slightly faded. The information page after the title page has some red marks on it - please see image. The pages are yellowed with age. Otherwise the pages are clean and the binding is tight. The dust jacket is in fair condition, with several closed and open tears along the top and bottom edges. The dust jacket is slightly yellowed and has some shelfwear marks. The dust jacket is unclipped. Seller Inventory # 543

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Hardcover with DJ. Gray paper over boards with red-orange cloth and gilt stamping over spine. Corners are rubbed, slightly exposing boards beneath. Pictorial DJ with orange, blue, and white lettering is quite chipped and creased along edges. Original price of $4.95 on front flap, and a portrait of Hemingway by Henry Strater on rear of DJ. Boards are very slightly bowed. Title page not dated. Complete Easton Press Edition set of Hemingway's works, including the posthumously released "True at First Light," set against the backdrop of his 1953-54 East African safari with his wife Mary, and the Mau Mau rebellion in Kenya. Of particular interest are the several volumes within the set featuring the powerful artwork of famed science fiction cover artist, Richard M. Powers (d. 1996), who launched his career with successful cover art illustrations of Doubleday's science fiction, and whose illustrations substantially enhance many of the titles here.
