The very scarce first edition of this short account of Winston Churchill's 1948 visit to Norway, where he accepted an honorary degree from Olso University, giving five speeches and attending a number of dinners over the course of his two day stay, from the 11th to the 13th May. Illustrated with a number of scarce photographs from that visit. With all text appearing in both English and Norwegian. In the publisher's original cloth covered boards. Shelf wear to spine head and tail. Some fading to back strip and board perimeters. Internally, firmly bound. Spotting to half title. Pages otherwise clean and bright. Very Good.
