Thus, 1950; full red cloth; plain borders blind-stamped to front/rear boards; titling/plain border/rule blocked in gilt (slightly dulled)/brown to spine; top edge brown; 510pp.; illus. col. plates. Moderately faded spine lightly crushed at tail, but clean/robust; front board faintly soiled; boards very slightly faded at edges, and very lightly bumped at bottom corners, but robust/quite bright; fore/bottom edges moderately tanned; light foxing to endpapers, but text fresh, pages clean and very crisp/bright; binding firm, all complete/intact.
