Zodiac. UK. 1947. Hardback in illustrated boards. No dustjacket. First edition in this Zodiac format. A smart copy of this classic novel 'Mrs. Dalloway' by Virginia Woolf. The boards are attractive with a decorative blue and white cover. The spine is very good with yellow decoration with titles that are gilt that are a little faded. Contents are clean and unmarked. Published first in 1925 by the Hogarth Press. The novel concerns a day in the life of Clarissa Dalloway as she prepares for a party to take place that evening. The working title for 'Mrs. Dalloway' was 'The Hours' which was of course the title of the film starring Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
