80 First printing. 101 pp, with illustrated endpapers by New Yorker cartoonist George Price. A very good copy with a small smudge to the lettering on the front board, light soiling to rear board. Binding tight, text clean. No dust jacket. Mary Lasswell, a Scottish-born resident of Brownsville, Texa2s, was primarily a writer of humorous fiction. Mrs. Rasmussen was a character in her well-received first novel, Suds in Your Eye, and several subsequent books. The premise of this cookbook is that the recipes may be made with a drink in one hand while the other is used to stir the pot.
